The Lightfoot Foundation supports educational organizations by providing annual grants to select, qualified organizations in the state of Idaho. In order to be eligible for a grant, an organization must be classified as a 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service.
The Foundation’s funds for the particular grant period are distributed at the sole discretion of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Foundation’s funds can only be used for environmental education, classroom education, classroom materials and supplies, repairs, maintenance and replacement to school buildings in order to enhance learning in a safe environment.
The Foundation funds are distributed at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors. The amount received by qualifying organizations may vary year by year.
